Hemorrhoid Surgery Removes Enlarged Veins Around the Anus
There is a lot of debate about the effectiveness and need for hemorrhoid surgery, but in some cases an operation is essential. For some the cost of hemorrhoids surgery is a big barrier, and for others the embarrassment of even admitting that they have hemorrhoids will mean that one day they may need hemroid surgery regardless.
If treated in their infancy, most cases will not require hemorrhoids surgery. There are some very effective creams available today that not only soothe and reduce inflammation, but also help to repair damaged and rupture anal skin/membranes. Acting early could mean that you don't go under the knife, and this means no painful hemorrhoid surgery recovery - which some say is more painful than the hemorroids themselves.
Surgery for external hemorrhoids and internal hemorrhoids surgery can be much the same. Examining the different types of hemroid surgery procedures explains this. (soon we will be publishing a surgery photo collection to show the different types).
Hemmorhoids laser surgery is probably the most technical form of hands-on treatmeants. It is very similar to infrared surgery where the hemorrhoids are basically burnt off. The most popular forms of surgical procedures are:
- Rubber band ligation. A rubber band is placed around the base of the hemorrhoid inside the rectum. The band cuts off circulation, and the hemorrhoid withers away.
- Sclerotherapy. A chemical solution is injected around the blood vessel to shrink the hemorrhoid.
- Infrared coagulation. A special device is used to burn hemorrhoidal tissue.
- Hemorrhoidectomy. Occasionally, extensive or severe internal or external hemorrhoids may require removal by surgery.
- Laser Surgery. A laser is used to burn the hemorrhoid tissue, like in infrared coagulation.
By general consensus, hemorrhoids in most cases can be dealt with by simple changes in habits and/or using a corective cream like Zenmed Ziro. Hemorrhoid surgery is typically seen as a last-ditch effort to rid people of their hemorrhoids, but there are those who opt for surgery right from the onset.
